Full Line-X paint job on 4X4 Lifted Van.

All right, what's up everybody today on tools in action, something real exciting, we got the 2015 f150 aluminum body, pickup truck first thing I got to do to it. Is it's slippery er than hacking hair? I can't believe that they actually release these things from the factory. With just paint I mean, are you gon na put snow blowers on your hood or cargo on your hood? No, so this thing's already been scratch the heck, so I had to call lionex. We went out here to Great Lakes. Line-X talked to Sam he's, hooking us up and he's going to tell you about the whole process that we're gon na do with this 2015 f150. So what do we got Sam? What are we going to do we're here? What'S the next step? Well, what we got here is we have a forty four step process, so we take every single truck through from the time it gets here to us checking in the vehicle visually inspecting it, the outside of the vehicle, the inside of the bed, making sure everything is Intact, there's no rust. Issues like there won't be on this, because it's brand new truck and it's aluminum, but you know so we bring the truck in here. We visually inspect it. We pull it around to the back of our shop. We take out all the hardware. We wipe out the whole vehicle to make sure that there's no water-based impurities, no chemical, based impurities, if all the hardware out we start sanding it we go into the clear we don't blow through the base paint, because the OEM paint job is the best in the World right - and we know if we spray onto that - that we're going to get a great bond and that's what allows us to have a nationwide lifetime warranty and which possibly soon could be a north, the first and only North American warranty Wow. Now, when you say you take all the hardware up, does that include the bed bolt? It does include the bed bolts, just in case you ever need to take your bed off or anything gotcha. Now what kind of products do you offer to put on this bed? I mean, I know you have like a just an entry-level line, I per se, and what would different vary so we have four different types of line. Ups, we have our standard line X, which is the same great product that we've been spraying for the past 20 years. We have line X premium, it's an integrated fade resistant system. So it's going to make the product more chemical resistant, more durable, cleans easier and it's 100 % UV stable, so it'll always look brand-new to the day to the day the truck die cool. We have the line X Pro, which is three hundred times stronger than the standard line X, Wow, and then we have the cat's meow the line X, Platinum, which again it's three hundred times stronger than the standard line X. But it's also an integrated fade resistant system. So UV stable, cleans, easier, more chemical resistant, more durable, so is the platinum more for the contractor yeah it's going to be for the guy who's hauling around heavy things like if you have broken concrete in the back of your truck all the time. That'S a great application for you Wow and then you guys have the lifetime warranty, Krag nationwide lifetime warranty and that prevents it from peeling, and I mean I've never seen Lian XP or any dragging chipping peeling. If you're loading pulling stuff out of here and you take a chip out of it with your shovel, if you're unloading, wood chips or something bring it in, will get it all fixed up for you cool good stuff and then the reason I like Linux guys is Enamine, honestly, I would I love line-x, I'm a huge fan. I'Ve had on a lot of my trucks and, like you said, I mean it's just last and I think, like every truck should come from the factory. We'Re gon na show you guys with Eric. We got Eric's truck, he got his from the factory and it's not a lionex per se. It'S some kind of cheap rubbery material, but we'll show you the difference. Also, in fact he brought his truck here to have you guys do the tailgate yep? Yes, they didn't, it is great yeah. He, oh he brought all from here was none of his was done and I was like wow, you know, yeah, that's crazy, yeah! So and then you guys have been in business for how long now we've been in business for 19 years and how many trucks do you think you've done in that we've probably sprayed over 20 thousand trucks. Wow 25 and I mean there's a huge learning process because I know we've been here for a while. Today we were talking about you know you can't just open up a line next dealer, you know start spraying, there's a lot that goes into the prep yeah. Well, first and foremost, all of our guys are factory trained technicians. I mean it's just it's not. You can't just come in and start spraying these things or even sanding. These things I mean this is you know, anywhere from a 40 to a $ 60,000. You know piece of machinery and you start messing with that. It'S yeah he can explain. If you don't know what you're doing exactly you get a reputation and everybody all the dealerships in the area. Use you guys right. But what do you do if you do have an issue like, let's say something: bad happens when you're spraying, you know typically it's fixable. Otherwise we just roll them out back light them on fire and claim it under insurance. Really awesome. That'S the way it should be. Yeah I like that house, two elections there you get a sticker. Let me write me to give me some sexy now, really what happens? If so, I mean, depending on what the issue is, but most of the time, if we have just like a little impurity or some sort of a bubble, we can cut that section out, we'll mask that section off from the rest of the bed, we'll fill the Hole where the bubble is we'll grind it down till it's flush with the rest of the liner and then we'll take that off, we'll wipe it and then we'll spray it and make it blend right back in with the right back. You can't even tell the difference. You can never tell wow, that's awesome and I noticed and your guys masking tape, there's like a wire in there yeah there's so there's certain sections like this back post here, where we need to mask off and where we're going to need to get a clean cut On the line X right and like I said this product dries in three seconds from the time it comes out of the tip of the gun to the bed. We need to be able to cut that line X and knots and past that point. So the tape has a wire in it and we leave a little pigtail and when we're done, we pull that wire down is clean and gives you a clean cut and it's perfect its factory. Every time and another thing is it's like a lot of people, bitch moan, that you know before I went with the aluminum. It'S not a strong! I mean when you put Linux in here this thing's gon na be so much stronger. It'S yeah right! I mean it's going to be impervious to just about every day, because if you guys have a can, they have a can set up in there like a coke can that they spelled you guys we were jumping on it doing it. I mean you can that debt that they know it amazing stuff is not almost go crazy with Linux. If I had it, I don't might spray everything. Actually I don't know so I you guys won't. Let'S go and we'll show you the final product yeah. What do you say we gone there's for each other up, yeah, alright, guys that was it. You saw how they did it. We put a GoPro in the spray booth, they're, really cool stuff, I mean - and this is theirs like we said, there's different types. This is the premium, so it's going to hold its color its luster, easy to clean stuff like that. Now that we're done Sam, what do I need to do for the next okay for the first 24 hours? You don't want to put anything heavy in there. Okay, for light to medium use, it's ready to go with the line-x premium product. We say: don't close the tailgate for the first couple hours just so it can fully cure. Okay, um! You know you have a nationwide lifetime warranty and it's ready to rock and roll nice sweet good, and you guys is this. I don't know if you can see it the camera, but it just looks beautiful. They did a great job here at Great Lakes lionex and say if they need to contact you. What'S your phone number out here, our phone number is eight one: five, four, five, five zero one, two three and we're located at 25, ten route, 176 and Prairie Grove unit, k, cool and you guys pretty much cover the whole Northern Illinois area, yeah, absolutely cool, good Stuff right, cool thanks man, thanks for getting to appreciate night, remember for more exciting tool.
